Warriors fans savagely troll Nurkić after Suns swept by T-Wolves
After Suns were swept by T-Wolves, Warriors supporters viciously tromped Nurkić on NBC Sports Bay Area.
Without ever setting foot on the floor, Jusuf Nurkić’s feud with Draymond Green and the Warriors may have heated up on Sunday.
Sunday’s NBA playoffs first-round matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Nurkić’s Phoenix Suns saw the Suns center get a rude awakening from Dub Nation following Phoenix’s 122-116 defeat at Footprint Center.
Nurkić wasted little time in sending the Warriors into the offseason after Golden State was eliminated from the playoffs due to a play-in loss to the Sacramento Kings. The message was posted on X, which was formerly known as Twitter.
And as we’ve discovered, Dub Nation never forgets what occurs on the internet.
Following the Suns’ defeat on Sunday, Nurkić’s post was quickly embraced by Warriors supporters and the NBA community worldwide.
Naturally, the conflict dates back to the start of the 2023–24 NBA season, when Green hit Nurkić in the face on December 12 and was suspended indefinitely for 12 games.
Things grew tense between the two, and the rivalry continued into their next meeting on February 14. The two athletes clearly don’t get along after exchanging some words and sharing postings on social media.
With at least 20 games played, Nurkić now has the lowest victory % (.150) of any player in NBA playoff history, standing at 3-17.
The Warriors have the same number of postseason victories as Nurkić this year, despite missing the playoffs for just the third time in the previous 12 seasons.
