News Now: The Yankees have provided an updated timeline for Jasson Domínguez, among other encouraging injury reports.

NEW YORK— There won’t be many pregame press conferences this season that include more favorable Yankees injury news from manager Aaron Boone than Tuesday’s at Yankee Stadium.

New York Daily News | Gary Phillips Despite a generally positive start to the season, the Yankees have been plagued by the injury bug. Gerrit Cole, DJ LeMahieu, and Jasson Domínguez may have been key contributors for the Yankees in 2024 if not for injuries. FanGraphs | Michael Baumann: Long before the Yankees traded for him, Juan Soto was regarded as one of the best hitters in the majors. It’s why he’s expected to sign a lucrative contract when he hits free agency this winter. Despite being an outstanding hitter with one of the best eyes in the game, he has managed to improve his game so far this year.

MLB Trade Rumors: Darragh McDonald When the Yankees activated Jon Berti from the injured list over the weekend, they chose to DFA Taylor Trammell. However, Trammell has cleared waivers and will be outrighted to Triple-A, where he will remain for the time being.
New York Post | Michael Blinn: The Knicks’ second round series in the NBA Playoffs began Monday night against the Indiana Pacers. As one might anticipate for a big playoff game at Madison Square Garden, the crowd was star-studded, including a handful of Yankees.
