Kings and Warriors will cohost expanded California Classic in Sacramento and San Francisco

The Kings will partner with the Golden State Warriors to cohost this year’s California Classic at two Northern California sites.

The sixth annual California Classic will feature six teams playing 12 games over five days July 6-10 at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento and Chase Center in San Francisco. Teams will include 2024 NBA draft picks, undrafted rookies and other young players vying for NBA and G League roster spots.

The Kings, Charlotte Hornets and San Antonio Spurs will play in Sacramento July 6, 7 and 9. The Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers and Miami Heat will play in San Francisco. The event will culminate with a game between the Kings and Warriors on July 10 at Chase Center. Beginning Thursday, Sacramento Kings, Sacramento River Cats and Stockton Kings season ticket holders will have early access for multi-day passes for all games at Golden 1 Center with the option to add discounted admission to Fourth on the Field at Sutter Health Park.

The general public can purchase tickets beginning Friday at Kings.com/CAClassic for Sacramento and Warriors.com for San Francisco. The California Classic was founded in 2018. The inaugural event featured the Kings,

Warriors, Lakers and Heat. The Hornets and Spurs were added to the field last summer when the event returned to Sacramento after being held in San Francisco in 2022. The California Classic is a prelude to the Las Vegas Summer League, which will be held July 12-22. Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox and forward Keegan Murray are past participants in the California Classic. Murray,

who came out of Iowa as the No. 4 pick in the 2022 draft, made his debut at the event before becoming an NBA All-Rookie First Team selection in 2023.
