Newcastle United may be forced to sell some of their key players as a result of their failure to qualify for European competition. According to the article, Manchester City has long had an interest in Guimaraes, and Liverpool has now joined the competition.

Meanwhile, Liverpool is allegedly interested in signing Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz. According to Italian news outlet Caiciomercato, Juventus has also expressed interest in signing Luiz after he helped Villa qualify for the Champions League.

According to the article, Juventus would compete with Liverpool for Luiz’s services, with Arsenal and Manchester United also interested. According to reports, Villa has set a £60 million asking price for Luiz for clubs outside of England, but that sum would rise to between £72 million and £77 million if Liverpool or any other Premier League club expressed an interest in signing him.
