News Now: Alexander Isak answers to Arsenal and Tottenham’s transfer interest following Newcastle negotiations.

Alexander Isak has committed his devotion to Newcastle despite being linked with Arsenal and Tottenham. The forward is in high demand after scoring 25 goals across all competitions last season, including 21 in the Premier League.

Both North London clubs are expected to improve their respective attacks in the coming months. Isak has been linked with the duo following his impressive season on Tyneside.

However, the 24-year-old says that he has not pondered a summer transfer, despite Newcastle’s failure to qualify for Europe following their Champions League campaign last season. He claims that he is completely pleased with life in the metropolis.

“I’m really, really happy at Newcastle,” the 24-year-old told Swedish football journal Fotbollskanalen.

“I had the best season of my career. That is not something to take lightly. I adore everything about the club, the fans, and the city.

“I’m not thinking about moving or anything. I’m having a great time and am really satisfied with my life.
Newcastle will be able to demand a hefty fee for Isak because he is under contract until at least 2028. The Magpies intend to make a profit on the £63 million they paid Real Sociedad to sign the Sweden international in 2022.

Isak, who was seen deep in conversation with PIF head Yasir Al Rumayyan after the final day of the season, had an injury-plagued first season in English football but shone under Eddie Howe last season. He grabbed the attention of several Premier League competitors.

Arsenal are expected to bolster their offense this summer after missing out on the league title by two points. Kai Havertz dominated the Gunners’ attack line for much of the 2023-24 season, scoring 13 goals in the top tier.

Mikel Arteta has been heavily linked with a transfer for RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko. The 21-year-old Slovenian attacker scored in all seven of his final Bundesliga matches last season. He scored 14 goals in his debut season in Germany and has fans all around Europe, with Arsenal apparently competing with Manchester United for his signature.

Meanwhile, Spurs are considering signing a new forward and have been connected with Isak. Richarlison was frequently deployed as a centre-forward following Harry Kane’s departure on the eve of the Premier League season.

However, eight of the Brazil international’s eleven top-flight goals were scored over a two-month span in the winter. Richarlison has recently been connected with leaving Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, although he denied this last week.
