So Sad: Tennessee Titans head coach expresses disappointment with five of his players for…..

The Tennessee Titans made a tremendous mistake by trading AJ Brown and replacing him with Treylon Burks, and this is even more evident today. Folks, this is not good, and the Tennessee Titans still appear to be healing from their disastrous experiment. During the 2022 NFL Draft, the Titans made a risky move and traded their former standout wide receiver AJ Brown to the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles then signed Brown to a long-term contract, making him one of the highest-paid wide receivers in NFL history. The Titans subsequently selected Treylon Burks with their first-round choice, who possessed very similar qualities to Brown. It seemed like a logical thing to do if Tennessee was so unwilling to extend Brown.

Since being traded, Brown has caught 194 catches for 2,952 yards and 18 touchdowns. Treylon Burks, who was intended to replace Brown, has caught only 49 catches for 665 yards and one touchdown in the same time period. It’s nothing short of a disaster for Tennessee, which has subsequently added Calvin Ridley, DeAndre Hopkins, and Tyler Boyd to at least temporarily fill the receiver position.

Brian Callahan, the Titans’ new head coach, also appeared to hint that Burks would have to carve out a place on special teams in order to make the roster and play on game days.

That is just horrible for the Titans. Yes, they have Ridley, Hopkins, and Boyd in the mix for at least this year, but their long-term prospects at WR are poor. Meanwhile, Brown was just signed by the Eagles, and the team also extended another stud wide receiver, DeVonta Smith. Treylon Burks may have reached his breaking point with the Tennessee Titans, and if he does not make the roster, it is unclear whether he will be able to carve out a rotational role on another NFL team.

Titans Birthday Boy Harold Landry Aims to Celebrate All Year in 2024.

NASHVILLE – Harold Landry smiled when he was wishing a happy birthday.
It is today, in fact.
“How old am I?,” Landry asked. “28.”
When asked about his knee, the Titans edge rusher appeared to bristle a few seconds later on Wednesday. He now considers it a thing of the past.
“I don’t even know how long it’s been (since surgery), it’s been so long,” he replied. “That is an afterthought. It’s all good.
Landry had a ruptured ACL just weeks before the 2022 season, and he spent the entire year on injured reserve.

Landry stated that his goal for 2024 is to have his finest season in the NFL yet.
Landry, the Titans’ second-round choice in 2018, is now the longest-tenured Titan, which he finds hard to understand.
“It’s crazy,” Landry exclaimed, smiling again. “Obviously, being able to stay with one organization for such a long time is fantastic. I’m actually just taking it one year at a time. Being the longest-tenured Titan is an impressive accomplishment in my opinion.
“But I am just focused on trying to go out there and have a career year this year.”
