Newcastle United transfers: Arsenal are allegedly in talks to buy Amadou Onana this summer.
This summer, Arsenal are reportedly ‘in negotiations’ to sign Everton midfielder Amadou Onana. The Belgian international has impressed at Goodison Park and is one of a few players linked with a lucrative move away from the Merseyside club this summer.

Onana, who is presently preparing to represent Belgium at Euro 2024, was connected with a move to St James’ Park during the winter transfer window, but financial constraints made a deal at that time impossible. The Athletic now reports that Arsenal has made a move to sign the 22-year-old, with the Gunners presently leading the chase for his signature.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest, however, the attraction of Champions League football at Arsenal is considered as one of the primary reasons why the Emirates Stadium might be Onana’s destination this summer. Onana featured 37 times for Sean Dyche’s team last season as they finished in 15th place.
