News Now: Arsenal and Manchester City given hope of explosive Newcastle deal as star acknowledges his future ………..

Bruno Guimaraes has expressed his delight at Newcastle, but has acknowledged that his future is uncertain amid reports that the Magpies may be forced to sacrifice their star player due to a £100 million departure clause and interest from Arsenal and Manchester City.
It may be an exciting summer at St James’ Park. After missing out on European football, there are numerous reports that they must sell players in order to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules, which has fueled speculation about interest in some of their most valuable assets.

Newcastle had a difficult season last year; their first Champions League campaign in 20 years put a strain on their team, and injuries were a continual thorn in Eddie Howe’s side. They rallied to finish eighth, but when Manchester United defeated Manchester City in the FA Cup final, their hopes for another continental trip were crushed.
Although their PSR issues are not as prominent as others’, and selling a number of squad players may suffice, a £100 million release clause in Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes’ contract at St James’ Park, which reportedly expires on the cut-off date for annual accounts on June 30, ensures that speculation will continue.

Arsenal and Manchester City have long admired Guimaraes, who has become a fan favourite on Tyneside. He is critical to Newcastle’s success; they have never won without him, and whenever he scores, they win.

‘I’m in no hurry’: Bruno Guimaraes on Newcastle’s future

In an interview while preparing for the Copa America with Brazil, Guimaraes reiterated his love for Newcastle, but said he was unsure about his future.
“Look, to be honest, my future is in God’s hands,” Guimaraes explained.
“I have a contract with Newcastle, and I’m extremely happy. As I previously stated, I know how much they like me and what I’ve done for the club. In summary, I have a contract and am pleased.

“I’m not sure what will happen; we know everything about Financial Fair Play, but I can say that I’m thrilled. It’s definitely wonderful to be associated with large clubs; it shows that I’m doing well, but I’m not concerned; as I already stated, I’m content with the club.
“I am extremely happy, so let’s see what happens. I’m not in a hurry, I’m pleased, and it’s up to God; we’ll see what happens.”

The condition is part of the 26-year-old’s five-year contract with Newcastle, which he signed last season. His words will please fans, but he may not be around forever, with The Mirror saying that the Gunners, who were interested in signing him when he went to St James’ Park from Lyon in January 2022, are preparing to activate the option.
