Nasreddine Nabi, a Tunisian coach, is set to join Kaizer Chiefs, according to reports from around South Africa and beyond. According to sources from Morocco, where Nabi oversees AS FAR, the Tunisian will join Amakhosi with his own technical staff.
“Last season, Nasreddine Nabi came extremely close to taking over Kaizer Chiefs! “This time, it’s the right one,” Adala said via X.
“Nabi, who finished second in the Moroccan championship with AS FAR (one point behind champion Raja), will coach Kaizer next season.
“The Tunisian, Tanzanian Champion and finalist of the 2023 CAF Cup with Young Africans, who won the same competition while coaching AC Leopards in 2012, will finish the season with his current club in Morocco before departing for South Africa.”
“Nabi will be accompanied on his new mission by Khalil Ben Youssef, Ilyes Mzoughi, and a Tunisian physical trainer.” AS FAR will face Maghreb Fez in the Coupe du Trône semi-finals in a few days, according to the reporter.
According to related sources, the unnamed Tunisian trainer is thought to be Orlando Pirates’ Helmy Gueldich, who previously worked with Nabi at Young Africans in Tanzania.

AMAKHOSI SET TO LOSE NJABULO NGCOBO?
Staying with Ngcobo, it is the second week of June, and the player’s contract expires on the 30th. His agent, Sboniso Ngubane, has issued a second warning to Kaizer Chiefs. Ngubane earlier stated that Amakhosi’s delay led him to contact AmaZulu.
