News Now: Blues pair may be shown the door as Maresca seeks AC Milan and Inter stars as …….

Chelsea are apparently hunting for talents from AC Milan and Inter to enhance one position, with the current occupants set to be replaced.

The Blues have two left-backs, who have recently shared responsibility. Last season, Marc Cucurella played 21 Premier League games while Ben Chilwell played 13 times.

The decision to stick with the former was helped by injuries received by the latter.

However, given Cucurella’s form, Chilwell may have been benched even if he had been available for much of the season.

Despite the fact that the Spaniard performed well for the sixth-placed Premier League team, earning a starting spot for his country at the Euros, he could be pushed out.

Indeed, HITC says that Chelsea is looking to improve its left-back duo.

And they’d be willing to push both men out the door to get their preferred option.

The Blues appear to be turning to the Serie A for such player.

Chelsea wants Theo Hernandez.
AC Milan’s Theo Hernandez is reportedly a player they ‘hugely adore’.

Not only that, but they believe the attacking full-back, who had five goals and 11 assists in all competitions last season, would fit into new manager Enzo Maresca’s system.

While Bayern Munich is closely monitoring him, Chelsea hopes to beat them to the punch.

And if they can’t get Hernandez, who is rumored to be worth £60 million, Milan’s local rivals Inter could be in trouble.

Dimarco on the Chelsea roster
Indeed, Inter’s left-back Federico Dimarco is thought to be on the list.

He’s been on the Blues’ radar for a while and is still there, according to the report.

Both he and Hernandez have started for their respective countries at Euro 2024.

If neither of those moves materializes, Chelsea is rumored to pursue Bradley Locko and Milos Kerkez. The Blues have scouted both extensively in recent months.
