Heisman winners Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels lead early 2024 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year chances.

NFL rookie minicamps are already concluded, with many college football stars from last season getting their first taste of the next level in preparation for the 2024 season. Six quarterbacks taken in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft lead the rookie class this year, including Jayden Daniels and Caleb Williams, the past two Heisman Trophy winners. A quarterback has won 10 out of the last 20 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year accolades. But who is the early frontrunner going into 2024?

Five quarterbacks are among the ten players with the best odds to win the 2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The remaining five are wide receivers, with no running backs among the top twelve.

Only 11 college football players who won the Heisman Trophy went on to win the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, an award created in 1967. The last was Kyler Murray, who had an outstanding rookie season with the Arizona Cardinals in 2019 after winning the Heisman Trophy at Oklahoma the previous year.

Here are the early odds for 2024-25 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year from FanDuel Sportsbook:

KEON COLEMAN, BUFFALO BILLS (+ 2500)

The Buffalo Bills may have a steal on their hands after selecting former Florida State great receiver Keon Coleman with the first choice in the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft in April. Buffalo needs a new top target for star quarterback Josh Allen, and Coleman surely possesses the tools to make an early impact in 2024. This past season, the 6-foot-3, 213-pound wide receiver caught 50 catches for 658 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Seminoles, demonstrating an excellent vertical on jump balls. Coleman was a four-star recruit out of high school before transferring to Florida State for his lone season there.
