Three important players are out for the Kings’ matchup with the Cavaliers.

AP, Sacramento, California Three important Sacramento Kings players were sidelined for Wednesday night’s game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After suffering a significant right ankle sprain on Monday night against Memphis, star big man Domantas Sabonis was declared out for at least ten days, according to an MRI.

Additionally, Sacramento was missing Jake LaRavia due to sickness and star player Zach LaVine, who missed the game for personal reasons.

Coach Doug Christie remarked, “We have players who are eager to play.” Thus, you are presented with the chance. I think they’re all real. It is regrettable. However, that is the reason we are a team when the occasion arises. It’s not a sport for individuals. It’s a team sport. Therefore, this evening, we must unite as a team.

After missing six games due to a hamstring injury, Sabonis just made his comeback to the starting lineup last week. Along with 19.2 points and 6.2 assists per game, Sabonis leads the NBA in rebounds (13.9 per game).

He is anticipated to be replaced in the starting lineup for Wednesday night’s matchup with Cleveland by Jonas Valanciunas.

The Kings, who are 3-6 this season without Sabonis, entered the day in ninth place in the Western Conference.

Christie said he was hopeful that LaVine and LaRavia would be able to return on Thursday against the Bulls.

LaVine is averaging 22.7 points in 18 games since joining the Kings in a trade from Chicago in February.

LaRavia is averaging 5.4 points per game this season.

Cavaliers guard Darius Garland missed the game for rest after Cleveland played Tuesday night against the Los Angeles Clippers.
