“The facilities were amazing. The weight room and training rooms were some of the best I’ve seen, and that’s something I’m really looking for in a program,” Toodle said. “It’s clear that they care about helping players develop on and off the field.”
Toodle’s visit also gave him a taste of the competitive atmosphere that comes with playing in the SEC. He had a chance to watch the Gators in action during a practice session, where the intensity and high-level competition were evident. The physicality of the SEC game style is something Toodle is preparing for, and the practice environment allowed him to envision what it would be like to compete at that level.
“The tempo of the practice was intense, and I could see the energy the coaches were bringing,” Toodle said. “It’s the type of environment where you can get better every day, and that’s something that stands out to me.”
Although Toodle’s visit to Florida was significant, his commitment to Auburn remains strong. He has made it clear that he is still firmly committed to the Tigers, where he has built a strong relationship with the coaching staff. “I’m committed to Auburn, and I’m still solid in that commitment,” said Toodle. “But I’m definitely going to keep looking at other programs and making sure I’m making the best decision for my future. I want to play at the highest level and be developed as a player.”
