JUST NOW: Stephen has a heartfelt message for the US Women’s Volleyball Team at the Olympics.

During the United States women’s volleyball team’s Olympic opener versus China, Stephen Curry came out to express his support.
Despite his emphasis on Team USA’s pursuit for gold at the 2024 Olympics, Stephen Curry took time to cheer on the United States women’s volleyball team as they faced China in their first game. Curry wanted to make sure he could offer some words of wisdom and encouragement to the sportsmen before their game.

Curry has made the most of his debut at the Olympics this year. Yesterday, he uploaded an incredible video that provided fans with an inside look at the Olympic opening ceremony, as well as photos of Team USA and other members of the US Olympic contingent.

Curry has made an impression with Team USA at the Olympics. Curry started for Team USA in their opening game against Serbia, scoring 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists as they defeated Serbia by 26 points in a 110-84 victory. Now Team USA will turn their attention to South Sudan, whom they will face tomorrow.

Following the challenge given by South Sudan in their Olympic showcase game, Curry and Team USA will be focused on ensuring that they are not caught off guard again. South Sudan has demonstrated that they are not a team to be underestimated, particularly following their victory over Puerto Rico.

Curry will be counted on to have a big game against South Sudan, as they will need his outside shooting and scoring against a squad with the strength and inside presence to match up with some of the greatest big men in the United States.

Is Stephen Curry the Team USA MVP?
Stephen Curry is important to Team USA at the Olympics. Curry’s shooting presence and passing abilities make the squad extremely dangerous, as he may spot up from three or throw the ball to another teammate for a clever basketball play that causes harm to the opposing defense.

Curry is coming off a rough season with the Warriors. While he averaged 26.4 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.5 rebounds, the Warriors advanced to the play-in tournament before being eliminated by the Pelicans. This is a stark contrast from two years ago, when the Warriors ruled the league as NBA champs.

With the disappointment of his NBA career still fresh in his mind, Curry hopes to make amends by capturing his first Olympic gold. Curry will have his first, and likely only, opportunity to represent Team USA at the Olympics, and he will want to make the most of it.

With Steve Kerr as head coach, Curry has an advantage over many of his colleagues since he understands his playing style and offensive-defensive strategies better than anybody else on the team. If Curry is the offensive juggernaut we know he can be during the tournament, Team USA might win five gold medals in a row this year.
