Although I can’t read or write sign language, I can’t get enough of watching ASL interpreters at concerts.

Over the years, several amazing recordings of these committed professionals giving it their all and putting on their own little show while translating the performance happening next to them on stage have gone viral.
Back in the past several years, an interpreter took center stage while signing along to “WAP” by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion.

As it happens, the sign language version has the exact appearance you would anticipate.
Recently, however, an ASL interpreter was providing assistance at Bristol Motor Speedway’s Country Thunder music festival. And it just so happened that one of the artists that evening

You are in luck if you have been wondering what “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” looks like in American Sign Language.

It turns out that even Trace was entertained by the performance; he turned to laugh when he saw the guy on the side of the stage completely killing it.

Known by his stage name Andrew Metcalf, this legend seems to have noticed his rise to fame after creating a TikTok account with the username “Badonkadonk Interpreter” and posting further videos of himself performing the song.

I’m sure Trace Adkins doesn’t need my counsel, but here’s an idea: Bring a sign language interpreter to every performance so they can help with this song.
