A must-see performance honoring one of the finest albums by the Fab Four is scheduled to take place on the Yorkshire coast, including one of the most popular tribute bands to The Beatles from Liverpool.
After thrilling audiences all around the world for 25 years, The Mersey Beatles will make their biggest-ever UK tour stop at Scarborough Spa on Saturday, September 14.

The Beatles debuted on the big screen in the comedy A Hard Day’s Night sixty years ago, during the height of Beatlemania. John, Paul, George, and Ringo at the height of their pop careers, as wonderfully depicted in the 1964 film and accompanying record.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary, The Mersey Beatles will play the entire A Hard Day’s Night album at their Scarborough show – with a hit-packed collection of Beatle classics.

The band will take the audience on a fabulous ride through the psychedelic brilliance of Sgt Pepper, a walk down Abbey Road and celebrate the Fab Four’s later work such as Revoution, Get Back and Hey Jude.

The Mersey Beatles hail from Liverpool where they were the resident Beatles tribute at the world-famous Cavern Club for a decade – playing more than 600 times at the venue.

Since leaving The Cavern, the band – Mark Bloor, John, Steven Howard, Paul, Craig McGown, Georg, and Brian Ambrose, Ringo – have toured the world many times over.

“We will be celebrating 60 years of A Hard Day’s Night at Scarborough Spa, and it’s going to be a brilliant night,” Steven remarked.

We are eager to perform the entire album because it is among The Beatles’ best and shows them at the height of their popularity.

“The album includes some true fan favorites like I’m Happy Just To Dance With You and Any Time At All, in addition to such huge singles as Can’t Buy Me Love, A Hard Day’s Night, and And I Love Her.

We’re sure that lovers of the Beatles will enjoy this amazing event.

The British Beatles Fan Club, which ranks The Mersey Beatles as “the best Beatles tribute band,” and John Lennon’s own family are among the hordes of admirers that the band has won over with their incredible live performances.

The band, on tour this year around the UK, Ireland, Europe, USA, and Australia, embodies the essence of the real deal both on stage and off, from the instruments, costumes, and Scouse charm to the unmistakable Mersey Beat that defines this era.

Mark remarked, “This year is a double celebration as it’s A Hard Day’s Night’s 60th anniversary and The Mersey Beatles’ 25th anniversary.”

“We will be performing another 25 Beatles masterpieces, ranging from Beatlemania smashes to Sgt Pepper and Abbey Lincoln, in addition to the entire A Hard Day’s Night album.
