Wolves have a hectic few weeks ahead of them. Today, the team turned down a transfer request for a player who is anticipated to leave Molineux.
Thus far this summer, three players have left the team. Max Kilman was the first to depart, spending £40 million to join West Ham United. A few days after, Hugo Bueno moved on loan to Feyenoord, and Pedro Neto joined with Chelsea.
In the upcoming days and weeks, more players are anticipated to go.
Goncalo Guedes traveled to Miami, but he has the ability to depart at any time.
Daniel Podence is also expected to go; rumors have it that he has an agreement to sign a permanent contract with Olympiacos.
Another player who is expected to go is Fabio Silva, who is currently the target of an unsuccessful bid.
Wolves reject Genoa bid for Fabio Silva
Renowned writer Fabrizio Romano stated this morning that Wolves had already turned down a bid for Fabio Silva from Genoa.
According to reports, the Italian team offered the player a loan with a buyout option. The value of the buy option, however, remained unknown.
Romano reported this morning that the £80,000-a-week striker’s demand was rejected, so it couldn’t have been too exorbitant.
He stated on X that “Wolves prefer to consider other proposals for the Portuguese striker.” “Wolves have rejected Genoa loan plus option to buy clause for Fábio Silva.”
It is unclear if Genoa will make a new offer when it returns. However, Wolves can afford to wait things out with Silva.
Despite his difficulties, the player appears to be in demand; Wolfsburg, Valencia, and Las Palmas have all been linked to him.
Silva is leaving.

Therefore, Genoa’s initial bid for Silva was unsuccessful, and we’ll see whether they make a better one now.
The child will undoubtedly enter this window. Regretfully, the transfer hasn’t been successful.
At Wolves, Silva was constantly facing challenges. Despite having played very little, he received a whopping £35 million transfer fee.
Earlier this summer, he acknowledged that he had never really wanted to move in the first place.
After Raul Jimenez suffered a skull fracture in his rookie season, Silva was thrown into the deep end, and it was obvious how inexperienced he was. He appeared to be a fish out of water in the Premier League at times.
He really hasn’t demonstrated enough to be given any more opportunities, and he was never able to establish any kind of momentum at the club.
Despite Genoa’s initial proposal being rejected, he has stated that it is “no secret” that he wants to leave the club and that his wish will undoubtedly be fulfilled.
