SO SAD: The Dawgs Nation are worried this morning for not……

The Georgia Bulldogs’ and Kirby Smart’s struggles against the Alabama Crimson Tide go on. Despite the fact that his best mentor, Nick Saban, is no longer in charge of his previous employer, Smart continues to struggle when facing this SEC powerhouse. Even if he did defeat Saban once to give Georgia its first national title in forty-one years, Alabama has been losing a lot lately.

Georgia has dropped a total of three games since 2021, all against Alabama. The Dawgs have dropped a total of five games since 2020. One was to The Cocktail Party in Florida. Four additional people have visited Alabama. Georgia needs to mature quickly since they know they will most likely need to play them again if they hope to win the SEC or the College Football Playoff National Championship.

With that schedule, it was always going to be easier said than done for Georgia to go unbeaten this season. I’m going to take a wild guess and predict that no team is winning their entire season. It combines the enlarged College Football Playoff format with conference realignment. All I know is that Georgia won’t be among the few teams who could theoretically run the gauntlet.

Though it’s a difficult morning in Dawg Nation, where should we put this Georgia team’s panic button?

Georgia defeats Alabama: In Athens, where should the panic gauge be set?

Take a look. Both Alabama and Georgia are, at least for the time being, surefire postseason contenders, and I believe that any fan of that game would concur. Great teams like the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide are able to bounce back from difficult regular-season losses thanks to the new 12-team format. Sincerely speaking, I believe that both of these teams might finish 9-3 and still have a good chance of qualifying for the 12-team tournament.

The Dawgs need to win two of these three games—Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Texas—to feel confident about their chances of being accepted as an at-large team, even though the Clemson victory still has some weight and the Kentucky victory appears better following the upset of Ole Miss. Ole Miss appears to be the most winnable team right now out of the three, with the other squad appearing, to put it mildly, extremely intimidating.

It’s also important to remember that each of those teams, along with the remaining five, still needs to play Georgia. I believe Georgia’s chances of traveling to Atlanta to compete in the SEC championship game are harmed by this defeat to Alabama.

yet does not completely exclude them from the picture either. Having worked out the scheduling aspect of it all, I will now examine the Georgia squad.

Take a look. Carson Beck’s first-half performance will never be as poor again. Georgia came close to pulling off the upset during the game as a result of his four turnovers. Smart said that he had to do a better job of preparing his players for games. This is mostly, in my opinion, Glenn Schumann’s fault as defensive coordinator. He needs to be more of an alpha. Mike Bobo, for his part, will always be Mike Bobo.
