JUST NOW: A horrible announcement about the Bucks game is made by Nikola Jokic.

The Denver Nuggets will be at home at Ball Arena on Wednesday as they host the Milwaukee Bucks in an interconference showdown. Denver enters Wednesday’s game amid a recent rough stretch as they have dropped six of their last 10 games and are coming off a loss to the Chicago Bulls on Monday.

For the Bucks, they have also been struggling recently as they have also dropped six of their last 10 games and are coming off a loss to the Phoenix Suns on Monday. Of course, most of Denver’s recent struggles have been due to the injuries to their star players, but they made a major announcement regarding their superstar center Nikola Jokic’s availability for Wednesday’s game.

Jokic is still anticipated to miss Wednesday’s game against Milwaukee after being upgraded to questionable by Denver.

Jokic has missed the Nuggets’ last five games due to an ankle and elbow issue but the good news for the Nuggets is that he has finally been upgraded to doubtful. This comes after head coach Michael Malone said before Monday’s loss to the Bulls that he expects Jokic to return at some point during Denver’s five-game homestand. Denver has struggled without Jokic in the lineup over the past week, but it is clear that they want him fully healthy for their upcoming playoff run.

With Jokic likely sidelined once again, DeAndre Jordan should draw another start for the Nuggets and Zeke Nnaji should also see an increased role off the bench.

Due to the treatment of his right calf injury and a left ankle sprain that prevented him from playing in Monday’s loss, Denver has also classified Aaron Gordon as doubtful for Wednesday’s game. Denver’s injury report once again featured Christian Braun, who is scheduled to play despite having a possible left foot sprain. Jamal Murray is completely off the Nuggets’ injury report, which is wonderful news for them.
