NEWS NOW: A Denver 36 years old player, a 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback, joins the Giants.

Russell Wilson, a 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback, was signed by the New York Giants today.

Wilson, 36, has started 199 games during the regular season with the Steelers (2024), Broncos (2022–23), and Seahawks (2012–21). With a minimum of 1,500 pass attempts, his career passer rating of 99.8 places him seventh in NFL history.

Wilson has a regular season record of 121-77-1 and a postseason record of 9-8, which includes two trips to the Super Bowl. Wilson and the Seahawks defeated the Broncos 43-8 at MetLife Stadium to win Super Bowl XLVIII.

On the ground, Wilson has rushed 1,024 times (second in NFL history among quarterbacks) for 5,462 yards (fourth) and 31 touchdowns (tied for 20th). He is the lone quarterback in NFL history to accumulate 40,000+ passing yards and 5,000+ rushing yards for his career.

Wilson joined Peyton Manning (2012-14) as the only quarterbacks in NFL history with 30+ passing TDs and 100.0+ passer rating in three consecutive seasons (2018-20).

In 2024, Wilson missed the first six weeks of the season with an injury but started the next 12 games for the Steelers, including an appearance in the Wild Card Round.

Wilson has led his teams to double-digit wins in nine different seasons and nine playoff appearances.

Wilson started 50 straight games at Wisconsin (2011) and N.C. State (2008–11) before joining the NFL, becoming the sixth player in NCAA FBS history to record at least 5,000 passing yards and 1,000 running yards. After throwing 379 straight passes without an interception, he also set an NCAA FBS record.
