Additionally, Smith released a statement at the close of the season that led many fans to speculate that it was the third-year player’s final message. Despite Smith’s own denials, speculation regarding her possible offseason departure from Indiana has continued to rise. Smith seems to have heard the rumors. The 24-year-old sent a brief six-word remark on X (previously Twitter) on Monday that seemed to be directed at her doubters. Smith wrote, “not too bad 4 a scrub.
