Jourdan Blake’s appointment as Notre Dame’s director of player personnel has many complain.
A source claims that Jourdan Blake has been appointed as Notre Dame’s next Director of Player Personnel.

Blake is from Colorado, where he has been the Associate Director of High School Relations and Player Personnel since 2023. Blake oversaw and supervised Colorado’s high school and transfer scouting when he was employed with the Buffs.
The Texas native will join Notre Dame with a wealth of recruiting experience in addition to his stint in Boulder.
Blake served as TCU’s recruiting coordinator in 2022, SMU’s director of recruiting operations from 2022 to 2023, and SMU’s recruiting coordinator from 2019 to 2021.
Blake finished his playing career at SMU in 2018 after playing cornerback for Baylor. Blake has a master’s degree in sports management and administration from SMU and a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Baylor.
Blake will collaborate alongside Notre Dame’s director of recruiting, Carter Auman, and general manager, Mike Martin.
In the upcoming days, we anticipate that the Irish program will add a few more employees to strengthen the recruiting division.
